I am currently working out of Rainy Valentine Private Tattoo Studio located in Brookfield, Illinois. The studio and myself are by appointment only.

My work is primarily focused on blackwork which consists of stippling, whip shading/pepper shading, a mix of line weights I also enjoy simple/minimalistic styles that focus on thin, fine linework.

Script (except for Old English/Custom lettering), wrap around bands, cover ups, other artists work even with given consent, adding to an existing tattoo not by me.

Whenever I make flash I will post it onto my Instagram feed.

  • How often do you open your books?

I currently open my books for appointments roughly every two months. I currently only book two months worth of appointments at a time in order to allow access to not only current but also new clientele. This is my current booking method and is subject to change.

I am currently booked through October 2024.

  • When will your books open?

My books will open on September 27 for November - December ‘24 appointments.

  • What are your rates?

My rate is currently $200/hr. My minimum is currently $600 (3hrs). This is my current rate and is subject to change. You can trust that the rates you booked for will remain the same for your appointment.

I require a $200 NON-REFUNDABLE deposit. It covers the first hour of your appointment. Deposits can be rolled over to a rescheduled appointment if you notify me 72hrs before your scheduled appointment time. Your deposit can be rolled over and honored once.

  • How does your booking process work?

A link to a form will be made available on my website under the tab titled ‘Tattoo Form’. This form will be made available on the day I open my books. Fill out that form as thoroughly as possible and submit it in order to inquire about a tattoo project. I will be in contact with you via the email you provide on the form to let you know if I will be taking on your project. From there we will move forward and finalize the booking process.

  • How soon should i expect a response after submitting a form?

You will receive a response within two weeks. Your patience is highly appreciated.

  • Can I email you about a tattoo inquiry when your books are closed?

I don’t take appointments when my books are closed unless it’s a touch up on something I’ve already done, or if we’re currently working on a multiple session project. You can still email me for any other questions not listed on this page. If you’re not sure if I’d take on your idea when my books open, feel free to email me about it beforehand.

  • Is it okay to come to my appointment with a numbing agent on?

I’m not opposed to certain types/brands but please email me about it prior to your appointment so we can discuss some specifics. If you come to your appointment with a numbing agent that has not been discussed and approved, you might forfeit your deposit as some brands make the skin very difficult to work with.

  • Do you do in person consultations?

I prefer to discuss everything over email to have everything down in written word. If I need to I will request photos of the desired placement to be able to design something to fit the area or to see what existing tattoos I need to possibly work around if I feel it necessary we will set up an in person consultation.

  • Will I see the design prior to our appointment?

I do not send out sketches or final designs which is why I like to be very thorough over email to ensure the design I create for you is what you envisioned. You will see the design on the day of our appointment and I am of course open to making any final adjustments in person if need be. If you completely change your idea we initially agreed upon or if you request A TON of design changes day of, I might forfeit your deposit and request you schedule a new appointment so I can design something up to par without time constraints. If you like my work you can trust I’ll come up with something you like! If we’re working on a big project like a sleeve I’m definitely open to sending out a sketch to ensure we’re on the same page.
